Tuesday’s Child Hires Eddie Evelyn-Hall As Head Of Development

EXCLUSIVE: Lego Masters producer Tuesday’s Child has hired a development boss.

Experienced UK development exec Eddie Evelyn-Hall has joined the STV Studios-backed indie and will lead the development teams for both Tuesday’s Child and Tuesday’s Child Scotland.

In the newly-created role, he will work across developing hits for both the UK and international buyers. He has held similar top development posts with WBD-backed Ricochet TV, BBC Studios and Monkey Kingdom, working on the likes of I Like The Way You Move, The Bi Life and Don’t Hate The Playaz.

Tuesday’s Child is the producer behind Lego Masters, which started on Channel 4 where it didn’t quite cut through but has been a huge hit around the world, most prominently on Fox where it is hosted by Will Arnett and has run for five seasons. Its other shows include The Hit List and ITV’s The Fortune Hotel.

Evelyn-Hall will report to Tuesday’s Child boss Karen Smith and Creative Director Steph Harris. Harris said he will “take the development reins and lead the teams in London and in Glasgow to the next level.”

“In a challenging industry landscape where innovation and new thinking are key to unlocking success, in Eddie we have someone who is brilliantly creative across the entertainment and reality spectrum and so well connected, I can’t wait to see what we can dream up together,” she added.

Evelyn-Hall said: “I’ve always been very envious of the shows Tuesday’s Child have created so I’m thrilled to be joining the company at such an exciting time and to get the ball rolling on creating even more wonderful shows and contribute to their amazing legacy.”
