EXCLUSIVE: Amazon MGM Studios has added 12 to the cast of its holiday family comedy, The Man with the Bag. They are Michael Cyril Creighton (Only Murders in the Building), Liza Koshy (upcoming Naked Gun), Kyle Mooney (SNL), Berkeley James (The Neighborhood), Ken Jeong (The Hangover franchise), Jesmille Darbouze (Broadway’s A Doll’s House), Adrian Martinez (Severance), Roger Bart (Good Trouble), Karren Karagulian (Anora), Gabi Samels (FX’s upcoming Adults), Jane Krakowski (Schmigadoon!) and Murray Hill (Somebody Somewhere).
As previously announced, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Reacher breakout Alan Ritchson, and Awkwafina lead the ensemble. The film watches as Santa gets his magic bag stolen and turns to his naughty list to find Vance, a thief, to help him get it back. Along with his daughter, Santa, and a group of misfits, Vance will have to pull off the greatest heist of his life to save Christmas.
Adam Shankman (Hairspray) is directing from a script by Allan Rice. Producers include Lawrence Grey, Ben Everard, Reg Tigerman, Dan Spilo, and Ritchson.
