Disney Names Becca Vodnoy SVP Corporate Alliances

EXCLUSIVE: Near two-decades Disney vet Becca Vodnoy is segueing to the senior leadership team of Walt Disney Chief Brand Officer and President of Marketing Asad Ayaz in the role of SVP, Corporate Alliances.

In this position, Vodnoy will lead the team responsible for forging and managing strategic partnerships with major global brands across various industries. Her work will encompass brand integrations, promotional initiatives, experiences, and more, collaborating closely with business units across the company.

Ayaz tells Deadline, “As industry veteran, Becca has consistently demonstrated the ability to deliver impactful results, and we’re excited to welcome her exceptional talents to our team. Vodnoy joins Ayaz’s org from Disney Advertising, where she most recently served as SVP, Sales, focusing on the Entertainment, Gaming, and Travel categories. During her tenure at Disney, Vodnoy worked with major consumer brands, advertising partners, and agencies on impactful campaigns rooted in Disney IP and storytelling, driving important value for the company. Previously, Vodnoy collaborated with brand partners including EA, Expedia, Netflix, United Airlines, Clorox, Amazon, and Nike.

Reporting to Vodnoy are: Cathy Cline – SVP, Corporate Alliances & Consumer Financial Services Operations; Mindy Hamilton – SVP, Partnership Marketing; Carlos Castro – VP and Corporate Alliances; George Rowen – Director, Business Integration & Optimization.

Ayaz serves as both the Chief Brand Officer for The Walt Disney Company, where he is responsible for managing the Disney brand globally across the company’s entire ecosystem of touchpoints and consumer experiences, and President of Marketing for Walt Disney Studios and Disney+ where he oversees all aspects of global marketing – encompassing strategy, creative advertising, media, digital, research, special events, promotions, publicity, and synergy – for Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Studios, as well as all aspects of brand and performance marketing for Disney+.
