Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds Appear On ‘SNL50’ Anniversary Red Carpet

Hollywood power couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds stepped out on the red carpet for SNL50: The Anniversary Special in a first outing since the inception of their legal dispute with Justin Baldoni.

The duo were all smiles for the fete, which has drawn industry heavyweights from across the entertainment world, including Saturday Night Live cast members and writers past and present, superstar musicians and A-List actors, directors and producers.

In attendance are colleagues like Scarlett Johansson, Daniel Levy, Claire Danes, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Tom Hanks, Will Ferrell, Kim Kardashian, Emma Stone, Jimmy Fallon and many, many others.

Though Reynolds was at the National Board of Review Awards in January, Lively has mostly remained out of the limelight amid the increasingly convoluted and contentious battle with It Ends With Us co-star and helmer Baldoni.

Rumors of a feud between Lively and Baldoni began percolating in August 2024, amid the theatrical wide release of the Colleen Hoover adaptation about a partnership colored by a history of domestic violence. After months of speculation, an explosive 10-claim complaint filing by Lively in December transformed the matter into a legal conflict as much as a public topic of conversation; in it, the Gossip Girl alumna accused Baldoni, along with his associates, of spearheading a “hostile work environment” and “astroturfing” smear campaign in retaliation for speaking up about sexual harassment on set.

Since then, scores of prominent Hollywood players have come out in support of Lively and women’s rights to a secure working environment, while Baldoni has largely been blacklisted. The former Jane the Virgin star has sued the New York Times, which initially published the inaugural filing, and in response, Lively has said that the tactic is indicative of victim-blaming. As of Jan. 16, Baldoni is demanding $400 million from Reynolds and Lively citing defamation, extortion and more.

A trial date is set for March 29, 2026 in New York federal court.
