As previously announced by Deadline, the cast also includes Darin Brooks (Blue Mountain State), Eddie Kaye Thomas (American Pie), William Forsythe (The Devil’s Rejects), Antwon Tanner (One Tree Hill), Vanessa Angel (Kingpin), Paul Johansson (One Tree Hill), Eric Lutes (Caroline in the City), Brett Azar (Young Rock), Jonathan Stoddard (Til Death) and Rob Goon (A Day to Die).
In a screenplay penned by Tom DeNucci (Vault), the film follows Rickey, a high school custodian who loses everything when his girlfriend, Kelly, is selected to play hockey for Team USA and compete in the World Games. Determined to win her back, he assembles a misfit curling team, leveraging his janitorial skills to compete for gold.
DeNucci also served as the director. Chad A. Verdi (Bleed For This) produced, along with Michelle Verdi, Chad Verdi Jr., Paul Luba and Anthony Gudas. Sera Verdi served as an executive producer.
Chad A. Verdi, President of Verdi Productions, stated: “We are currently negotiating with several distributors for a release to coincide with the 2026 Winter Olympics. We wouldn’t be here without the entire cast, who all gave outstanding performances…Fivel particularly shines in the film. This is one of her best performances to date.”
