Have you ever felt a pang of nostalgia for your favorite singers? If you loved this season of American Idol, get ready for some heartwarming news.
Two of the most beloved contestants from Season 24 just reunited for a surprise performance, and guess what? They didn’t perform on a lavish TV stage but right inside a cozy bathroom!
Brooks Rosser, the soulful singer from Maryland who made it to the Top 7, shared the video on his Instagram. Standing beside him was his pal from the show, Minnesota construction worker Chris Tungseth, who reached the Top 5.
Brooks included a sweet caption with the video: “bathroom tunes with christopher.”
While a bathroom may seem like an odd place for a performance, it turned out to be a brilliant choice! The small space created a lovely, natural echo that enhanced their voices. They performed the iconic indie-folk song “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
Their harmonies were so beautiful that fans couldn’t help but feel chills.

Another fan confessed they stopped watching American Idol the day Brooks was eliminated because his voice stood out in such a special way. It was clear that this unfiltered moment was just what everyone needed.
