BAFTA Film Awards 2025 Party List

BAFTA weekend is upon us, and with it the annual flurry of pre- and post-awards cocktail receptions, dinners and swanky soirées to celebrate nominees, winners and the industry as a whole. (Scroll down for a list of events.)

The BAFTA Film Awards will be handed out on Sunday evening in London at a ceremony hosted by David Tennant and beginning at 5pm local time – Deadline will be on the red carpet and inside Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall to cover the proceedings. The ceremony will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from 7pm local. In the U.S., Britbox is airing the Film Awards from 11am PT/2pm ET.

On the road to Sunday, and through the wee hours of Monday morning, there will be champagne flowing in Central London with oodles of talent expected in town for a well-heeled weekend party crawl.

There was unsettling news on Friday afternoon as the storied Chiltern Firehouse in Marylebone was evacuated amid a blaze; fortunately no one was hurt, but the venue has been shuttered until further notice. Netflix was due to host its annual takeover of the tony spot, and has since pivoted to The Twenty Two in Mayfair.

Events already held earlier this week include a pre-awards dinner at the Chiltern with Vanessa Kirby, Regé-Jean Page and Henry Golding; and the dunhill x BAFTA Film Makers Dinner in celebration of BAFTA Elevate at Bourdon House with Page, David Harewood, Aidan Turner and Jessica Brown Findlay. On Friday, GQ kept the momentum going with its Excellence in Film Dinner co-hosted by nominees Mikey Madison (Anora) and The Apprentice’s Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong; also held on Friday was the Hennessy Pre-BAFTA Dinner, co-hosted by The British Blacklist, BSBP & Fan Studio.

Today kicked off with Apple TV+’s The BAFTA Brunch, a celebration of excellence in arts and entertainment that’s becoming an annual affair. Apple Original Films has three BAFTA nominations for Steve McQueen’s Blitz, including Outstanding British Film.
