With the critical, financial, and cultural success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in recent years, its parent company, Disney, has seen the opportunity to capitalize on this momentum. For better or worse, Disney’s influence on films and television shows from the comic book powerhouse has infused them with a heavily family-friendly nature. This has enabled these properties to be featured as attractions at Disney’s various theme parks.

Some of these experiences that guests can enjoy include the Iron Man Experience and the Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! at Hong Kong Disneyland, the Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure and Avengers Assemble: Flight Force at Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris, and the fan-favorite Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT in Orlando. And of course, Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure park features both Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout and WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. With the Paris Avengers Campus now fully open and Hong Kong Disneyland continuing to expand its Marvel area, the question becomes: assuming Disney has extra space around these lands and enough budget to build, what’s next? Here are five Marvel properties that could make for exciting new attractions.
Doctor Strange
Disney already features a Doctor Strange show at California Adventure’s Avengers Campus, but it is little more than a character-driven live performance. With the continued popularity of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and the multiverse now a central theme of the MCU, Disney has the opportunity to capitalize on a large-scale multiverse-themed ride. Guests could travel alongside the Sorcerer Supreme across shifting dimensions and realities.

The Children Around the World Continue to Ask the question
The biggest challenge might be motion sickness, but Disney has developed many high-tech ride systems in recent years to balance immersion with comfort. The result would most likely be a 4-D experience, though it doesn’t necessarily have to be, that could easily rival other cutting-edge attractions across the parks.
Thor and Loki
Few MCU character pairings are as beloved as Thor and Loki. Their constant back-and-forth, a mix of humor and tension, has been central to the franchise’s success. A ride featuring the two brothers could tap directly into that chemistry.
The premise may be that Thor and Loki are tasked with retrieving a powerful artifact to return it to Asgard’s vault. Along the way, guests might encounter Frost Giants, Dark Elves, Hela, or even Gorr the God Butcher. The real fun would come from the brothers’ infamous banter, pushing the mission off course and throwing guests into unexpected encounters. The interstellar mischief would make for a ride that blends comedy, action, and cosmic spectacle.

Blade
With Marvel gearing up for its Blade reboot starring Mahershala Ali, the character feels primed for an attraction of his own. Blade offers something unique compared to the rest of the MCU: a darker, horror-tinged atmosphere.
Of course, Disney would never go too gory for a family park, but there is precedent for spooky fun. The Haunted Mansion remains a classic, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout evolved from The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Blade could thrive in an immersive walkthrough-style experience where guests help him hunt vampires lurking in the shadows. With scare effects, moody lighting, and interactive elements, this could become a seasonal favorite around Halloween, yet still fit in year-round.
X-Men
Since Disney regained the rights to the X-Men through its acquisition of Fox, fans have eagerly awaited their arrival in the MCU. While their live-action debut is still coming, Marvel has already re-energized the franchise through the Disney+ animated series X-Men ’97. A theme park attraction feels like a natural extension.
Guests could walk through the iconic X-Mansion as part of the queue before boarding the Blackbird for an epic mission. Much like Star Tours, the adventure could vary on each ride, with different X-Men like Cyclops, Storm, Beast, or Wolverine piloting the ship. Along the way, guests would face off against Magneto, Sentinels, Mister Sinister, or even cosmic threats like the Shi’ar Empire. This mix of interactivity, nostalgia, and cinematic thrills could make an X-Men ride a standout.
Fantastic Four
Marvel’s “first family” is also set to join the MCU with an upcoming film in 2026. With their roots in space exploration and cosmic adventures, the Fantastic Four lend themselves perfectly to a thrilling park attraction.
A Fantastic Four ride could combine elements of Space Mountain and Star Tours, sending guests on a journey through cosmic phenomena and battles against iconic villains like Doctor Doom or Galactus. The ride could highlight both the family dynamics and the larger-than-life adventures that made the team a cornerstone of Marvel Comics.
Given the strong Marvel theming across Disney parks, integrating the Fantastic Four feels less like an “if” and more like a “when.”

An excerpt from the love letter: The Hollywood Insider’s CEO/editor-in-chief Pritan Ambroase affirms, “We have the space and time for all your stories, no matter who/what/where you are. Media/Cinema/TV have a responsibility to better the world and The Hollywood Insider will continue to do so. Talent, diversity and authenticity matter in Cinema/TV, media and storytelling. In fact, I reckon that we should announce “talent-diversity-authenticity-storytelling-Cinema-Oscars-Academy-Awards” as synonyms of each other. We show respect to talent and stories regardless of their skin color, race, gender, sexuality, religion, nationality, etc., thus allowing authenticity into this system just by something as simple as accepting and showing respect to the human species’ factual diversity. We become greater just by respecting and appreciating talent in all its shapes, sizes, and forms. Award winners, which includes nominees, must be chosen on the greatness of their talent ALONE.
I am sure I am speaking for a multitude of Cinema lovers all over the world when I speak of the following sentiments that this medium of art has blessed me with. Cinema taught me about our world, at times in English and at times through the beautiful one-inch bar of subtitles. I learned from the stories in the global movies that we are all alike across all borders. Remember that one of the best symbols of many great civilizations and their prosperity has been the art they have left behind. This art can be in the form of paintings, sculptures, architecture, writings, inventions, etc. For our modern society, Cinema happens to be one of them. Cinema is more than just a form of entertainment, it is an integral part of society. I love the world uniting, be it for Cinema, TV, media, art, fashion, sport, etc. Please keep this going full speed.”
