In the film, Washington commands the screen as David King, a hip-hop mogul whose empire teeters on the brink of collapse. King’s record label, Stackin’ Hits, is threatened by a potential buyout from a faceless overseas conglomerate intent on stripping the company for profit and flooding it with soulless AI-generated music. Determined to maintain control, King plans an audacious buyback, staking everything he’s built. His world, however, is turned upside down when a kidnapping shatters his carefully managed life.
