Long before Conrad Murray was convicted of causing Michael Jackson’s death, Jermaine Jackson had a gut feeling about him. Although he couldn’t pinpoint it at the time, something about the doctor struck him as off.
In interviews following Michael’s passing, Jermaine recounted meeting Dr. Murray and leaving with an uneasy suspicion.
The doctor’s demeanor unsettled him in an unusual manner. This discomfort wasn’t rooted in anything specific he said or did, but rather in how he carried himself around Michael.
Jermaine sensed that something was amiss, and he couldn’t shake the feeling.
Jermaine Jackson Discusses Murray
On June 25, 2009, Conrad Murray was alone with Michael in his rented mansion in Holmby Hills. He had been administering propofol, a potent hospital-grade anesthetic, to aid Michael’s sleep.
Murray later stated that he briefly stepped away, and upon his return, Michael was unresponsive.
He admitted to delaying the 911 call. However, phone records revealed a different narrative—Murray had been on calls for nearly an hour, including a 32-minute call to one of his medical clinics, while Michael lay unresponsive in the bedroom.
HE WAS CONVICTED OF INVOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER IN 2011 AND SERVED LESS THAN TWO YEARS.

For Jermaine, the conviction never fully resolved his concerns. In his book, he highlighted an issue that remains unclear: the surveillance footage from Michael’s property was erased. According to the investigation, the LAPD was responsible for this.
BUT JERMAINE CLAIMED THAT SOMETHING ELSE WAS WIPED BEFORE THAT. WHAT IT WAS AND WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE HAS YET TO BE CLARIFIED.
Murray had been hired just weeks prior to Michael’s death, specifically for the This Is It comeback tour. Jermaine publicly stated he believed that someone orchestrated this — not necessarily Murray alone, but that he was part of a larger scheme.
The uneasy feeling he experienced upon first meeting that man? It never completely faded.
