Justin Chatwin Joins Psychological Thriller ‘Sleepwalker’

EXCLUSIVE: Justin Chatwin (Shameless) has joined Hayden Panettiere in the psychological thriller Sleepwalker.

Also joining the cast are Beverly D’Angelo (Vacation film series, Coal Miner’s Daughter), Mischa Barton (The Sixth Sense, The OC), and Lori Tan Chinn (Orange is the New Black, A Man on the Inside). 

The film is being produced by Verdi Productions and Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way Productions. 

Sleepwalker follows a grieving mother who is haunted by the tragic loss of her daughter in a car accident that left her abusive husband in a coma. As she battles a surreal descent into darkness, her sleepwalking episodes intensify. Plagued by haunting visions of her husband inside their home, she grapples with the blurred lines between reality and nightmare.

The cast is rounded out by newcomers Laird LaCoste and Corinne Sweeney alongside Kea Ho (Sin City: A Dame to Kill For), Eric Lutes (Caroline in the City), Tom DeNucci (Junction) and Rob Goon (The Roaring Game).

Chad A. Verdi (The Irishman) and Jennifer Davisson (Killers of the Flower Moon) are producing, along with Phillip Watson, Michelle Verdi, Chad Verdi Jr., and Paul Luba. Executive Producers are Taylor DiGilio, Sera Verdi, and Anthony Gudas. Brandon Auman penned the screenplay and is directing. Principal Photography recently wrapped in Rhode Island. 

Verdi President Chad A. Beverly, Justin, Mischa, and Lori are all superb additions that elevate Brandon’s strong script.” Verdi added, “The performances from the entire cast are simply mind-blowing.”
