Keith Urban is reimagining a classic hit made famous by Stevie Nicks. Can Little Big Town deliver?
The country music star has just revealed that his new single “Magnet and Steel” is set to release soon. However, this choice has sent ripples through the music industry.
The original 1970s gem featured a ghostly echo of rock royalty with Stevie Nicks providing background vocals. By selecting this song, Keith is stepping into some truly enormous shoes.
Rather than facing the pressure alone, he enlisted Little Big Town to help navigate this challenging task.

Keith Urban – We Go Back (Official Lyric Video) ft. Michael McDonald
By taking on “Magnet and Steel” and collaborating with Michael McDonald, Keith is intentionally breaking out of the typical country mold. He is trading his signature banjo rhythm for high-stakes Yacht Rock nostalgia.
This significant artistic shift is a bold gamble that could easily alienate traditional country fans. However, it might also stand out as one of the most brilliant genre-defying moves of his two-decade career.
