EXCLUSIVE: Lee Majdoub, one of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise’s recurring cast members, has signed with Buchwald for representation in all areas.
In Paramount’s films based on the SEGA video games, Majdoub plays Agent Stone, the devoted and cunning assistant to Jim Carrey’s Dr. Robotnik. He’s appeared in each of the films to date, including Sonic the Hedgehog 3, which just premiered on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada today and will stream in other international territories at a later date.
The highest-grossing film in the Sonic series, at over $473 million worldwide, as well as the second highest-grossing video game film of all time, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 picks up shortly after limited series Knuckles‘ six-episode side quest and follows Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails on their most epic adventure yet. In the film, the team reunites to face a new, formidable foe, Shadow, a mysterious hedgehog with powers unlike anything they’ve ever seen. Together, team Sonic must secure an unexpected alliance if they hope to stop Shadow and save the planet they now call home.
Majdoub stars alongside Carrey, Ben Schwartz, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Idris Elba, Krysten Ritter, Natasha Rothwell, Shemar Moore and Keanu Reeves, who joined the cast as Shadow in the third installment, which catapulted the franchise past $1.2 billion in global box office receipts.
Previously seen recurring on The CW’s The 100, Majdoub will next recur in the new season of Amazon’s Upload. In the gaming world, he voices Basim in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the latest installment in Ubisoft’s critically acclaimed franchise. Majdoub continues to be managed by Alan Seigel Entertainment and Red Management in Canada.
