Solly McLeod & More Join For All Mankind Spinoff

Solly McLeod (House of the Dragon), Agnes O’Casey (Black Doves) & Alice Englert (Bad Behaviour) have joined the cast of Star City, Apple TV+’s upcoming spinoff from the streamer’s space drama For All Mankind. They join previously

Created by Ben Nedivi, Matt Wolpert and Ronald D. Moore, Star City is another alt-history retelling of the space race – when the Soviet Union became the first nation to put a man on the moon. But this time, we explore the story from behind the Iron Curtain, showing the lives of the cosmonauts, the engineers, and the intelligence officers embedded among them in the Soviet space program, and the risks they all took to propel humanity forward.

McLeod will play Sasha, a reckless cosmonaut who has yet to live up to his potential.

O’Casey will portray Irina, a recent addition to the surveillance department at Star City.

Englert will play Anastasia, an untested female cosmonaut in the Soviet Space program.

Wolpert and Nedivi serve as showrunners and executive produce alongside Moore and Davis of Tall Ship Productions along with Steve Oster and Andrew Chambliss. Just like the mothership For All Mankind, which was recently renewed for a fifth season, Star City is produced for Apple TV+ by Sony Pictures Television.

McLeod, whose credits also include Tom Jones and The Dead Don’t Hurt, is repped by Harley Morton-Grant and Roger Charteris at The Artists Partnership, Creative Artists Agency, The Unseen and Bespoke Publicity.

O’Casey is repped by Susannah Norris Agency, Curtis Brown, and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher LLP.

Englert is represented by CAA, Hamilton Hodell, and United Management.
